What we are looking for

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and driven Head of Technical Operations to oversee our operations across multiple regions. This role is crucial in driving the strategic objectives for the technical operations teams across the regions, with a strong focus on improving the quality of our service as well as optimising our processes by finding efficiencies for our teams that will positively impact our speed to market. Key to being the right fit for TMWF is someone who is passionate about bringing connectivity to the communities we serve whilst having a high bias towards accountability and performance excellence. 

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving performance excellence within the Technical Operations teams, leading a team of Regional Operations Managers. This role emphasises strategic execution, performance management and operational excellence while maintaining fiscal discipline.


What you will be doing

  • Promote and ensure technical operations team compliance with safety regulations and reporting.
  • Lead, coach and mentor senior managers reporting to you with the aim of developing a team focussed on service excellence.
  • Develop and manage the Techinical Operations annual budget,  and create a culture of fiscal discipline, in order to drive down cost. 
  • Create and regularly review SOPs.
  • Ensure the quality of installations, repairs and maintenance exceeds company/industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Manage technical performance metrics, evaluate performance gaps and develop techs knowledge, skills and ability to meet company and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with other divisional senior managers to drive change that will enhance the customer experience and foster customer loyalty and retention.

Minimum requirements (qualifications, skills and experience, other)

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience at senior management role.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
