We’re proud to announce we’re running our Summer Project Brum Programme again this year. This is a great opportunity to gain some hands on, paid work experience in The Active Wellbeing Society (TAWS) which is a community benefit society and through cooperative working we aim to develop healthy, happy communities where people are living active and connected lives.
You will be working as part of The Active Wellbeing Society’s service delivery team and you will be based in communities across the City of Birmingham. You will be working closely with the Project Leads to ensure the delivery of consistent, high quality programmes for the local community, through the use of community development practices and partnership working.
We are looking for a passionate Level Two Trainee Youth Worker to join us this summer and support the business with community delivery programmes. This is a well-rounded opportunity that will encourage growth & learning via a range of methods. We promise to train, support and guide you through the 6 week placement and offer accredited training to compliment the day to day work you will be involved with.
