ABOUT THE ROLE

An Opportunity has arisen to join the facilities team to assist in the redevelopment of the HQ in Sheffield and support the ongoing upkeep of the facilities across the ITI Group. On occasion there may be a requirement to support other duties in the workshop i.e. stores.

SUMMARY OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

·  Assisting with maintenance tasks around the ITI Group offices

·  Assisting with maintaining and updating security systems

·  Assisting with any major works (refurbishments, building alterations, etc)

·  Assist with maintaining Certification where needed

·  To successfully complete all planned training both in-house and external, in a timely manner.

·  To occasionally carry out other relevant, non-facilities related tasks as required by their line manager.

·  Covering of Stores duties when needed (these include - Booking in delivered goods, issuing stock to workshop team, engineers and other staff).

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for:

·  Experience of working with computers (Word, Excel)

·  A full UK driving licence or indication of working towards one.

·  Must have right to work in the UK.

·  Ability to work towards a recognised facilities qualification

·  Previous experience of working in a construction/maintenance environment

·  Good IT skills, particularly using Microsoft Office applications.

·  Ability to work quickly and neatly.

·  Good communication skills between co-workers

·  Good ability to work as a team

·  Capable of carrying out some physically demanding tasks
