The Integration Engineer is responsible for the technical delivery of strategic Boomi integration solutions within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand integration needs and requirements, designing and implementing integration solutions while ensuring the successful execution of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
This is a hands-on role that requires solid technical expertise in the system integration space, IT project management skills, and people coordination during the delivery of integration solutions.
For this role, you will work closely, on an internal level, with the Integration team, Application and Process Solution Owners, Enterprise Architecture Teams, Infrastructure Engineers, information security teams, and Application Support and Operations teams.
And, externally with Engineers / Consultants responsible for the
technical delivery.
Your daily tasks and responsibilities are the following:
- Execute the Integration defined strategy and operating model.
- Identify and prioritize integration opportunities to enhance ways of working.
- Architect integration solutions, considering technical requirements, scalability, and compatibility.
- Select appropriate integration technologies, middleware, and tools.
- Ensure that integration solutions adhere to security and compliance standards.
- Implement integration solutions throughout the SDLC.
- Lead and manage integration projects from initiation to completion.
- Define project scopes, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with cross -functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, issues, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Monitor integration performance and optimize processes for efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration -related issues promptly.
- Implement best practices and industry standards for integration.
- Create and maintain documentation for integration processes, standards, and guidelines.
- Provide training and guidance to team members and end -users on integration best practices.
