Accounting & Reconciliation Specialist (Payment System Provider)

Spinwise is seeking a meticulous and dependable Accounting & Reconciliation Specialist to ensure the accurate settlement of transactions across multiple payment methods.

• Reconcile daily transactions across bank accounts, payment providers, wallets, and multi-currency transactions, including FX gain/loss
• Generate daily, monthly, and real-time reports for managers
• Collaborate with teams to automate calculations and reports
• Identify anomalies and errors in reconciliations
• Provide insights and feedback to assist teams in resolving issues
• Analyze discrepancies in payment providers' reports
• Ensure efficient payment execution and cost optimization

• Strong attention to detail, spotting mismatches or errors in transactions
• Solid understanding of accounting and reconciliation principles
• Comfortable working with data from payment providers and banks
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis
• Analytical with the ability to turn numbers into insights
• Strong organizational skills to manage reconciliations under pressure
• Experience in payment system providers or similar tasks, or relevant educational background
• Exposure to high-volume transaction environments

• Familiarity with accounting systems is a plus
• Experience with payment provider back-office systems is a bonus
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
• Understanding of chargebacks, rolling reserves, and settlement delays is a bonus
