ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Digital Solutions Consultant to join our team in Alcester. This role involves working with the ITI Simulation Application Team to deliver bespoke software solutions as well as solution design and documentation, application testing and project management.


Reporting to the Business Unit Manager you will act as the solution owner in matching the end delivery to clients requirements, ensuring product quality and acting as the interface between the client, sales and internal delivery stakeholders.


Salary: up to £35,000 depending on skills and experience.

SUMMARY OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Engage with clients to understand requirements, produce solution design and documentation to meet those requirements
  • Work with the application development team to deliver projects by acting as the project and solution owner
  • Produce testing plans and undertake or overview application testing phases to ensure quality ahead of delivery
  • Support the application and client helpdesk – responding to support requests, recording tickets, repeating issues, reviewing tickets raised against own projects
  • Responsible for the project lifecycle and delivery for allocated projects
  • Work with operational leads to estimate, track and adhere to project delivery budgets and deadlines

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for:

  • Degree in a highly numeric subject (maths, physics, computer science, operational research)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Technical or analytics background
  • Experience of software design and/or development
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
