About Paybis

Paybis is a global fintech company operating at the intersection of crypto and traditional payments. Since 2014, we've been building products that help people and businesses buy, sell, and exchange cryptocurrency. We serve 8.6M+ customers across 180+ countries and operate as a self-funded company with ~200 people across Europe, Ukraine, and the US.

We hold a MiCA CASP authorisation and a Payment Institution (PSD2) licence in Latvia — one of a small group of companies in Europe holding both simultaneously — alongside FinCEN MSB and FINTRAC registrations.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior PM with infrastructure product experience to join our B2B product team. You will own a significant part of our regulated API-first platform, drive product specifications and delivery, and contribute to shaping the commercial model.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Own product roadmap and API-level specifications across multiple product modules
  • Write product requirements and engineering stories independently — every capability ships API-first
  • Run partner and market discovery and convert findings into pricing, packaging and positioning
  • Identify and resolve gaps in product documentation before engineering encounters them
  • Define delivery approach for each capability across different partner integration models
  • Own the partner onboarding experience: integration documentation and partner portal
  • Work directly with senior leadership on product vision and architecture
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and Sales/BD
  • Manage scope with clear rationale for prioritization decisions

What We're Looking For

Must have:

  • 5+ years of product management in fintech, payments or crypto infrastructure, including at least one B2B API product taken to production
  • Has built provider-side infrastructure — not only integrated someone else's
  • Hands-on ownership of at least two of: custody or wallet infrastructure; virtual account issuing; ledger and balance systems; crypto-fiat exchange or trade execution
  • Direct integration experience with banks, EMIs, custody or signing providers
  • Ledger literacy: double-entry mechanics, balance management, client fund segregation, reconciliation and exception handling
  • Ability to read an API spec and write product requirements for API-first solutions independently
  • Understanding of crypto settlement mechanics: custody, on-chain/off-chain, reconciliation, compliance reporting
  • Stakeholder management at senior level
  • Structured thinking under ambiguity
  • Treats regulatory structure as a design constraint: MiCA, EMI, PSD2 or equivalent
  • Converts discovery into go-to-market decisions — pricing, packaging, positioning
  • English B2+ written and spoken
  • Russian — written and spoken

Nice to have:

  • Experience at a regulated crypto or fiat infrastructure provider
  • Prior solutions or sales engineering background
  • Understanding of MiCA CASP + PI implications for prefunded balance models
  • Experience with stablecoin or tokenized asset products
  • API documentation ownership — developer-facing docs for infrastructure products
  • Understanding of wallet and signing models: MPC, HSM, multi-sig, custodial vs non-custodial
  • KYB and corporate onboarding product ownership
  • Travel Rule or VASP-to-VASP transfer experience
  • Experience at a licensed neobank, wallet or exchange that used this type of infrastructure

What We Value Beyond the Tech

  • Scope Management — multiple modules and surfaces; without clear prioritization delivery fails
  • Delivery Ownership — drives teams toward committed dates and escalates early
  • Discovery That Produces GTM — converts partner and market discovery into pricing, packaging and positioning
  • Closing Specification Gaps — finds what documentation does not answer before engineering does
  • Multi-Surface Thinking — different integration models have different users, failure modes and definitions of done
  • Compliance as Product Input — regulatory licences define what is possible; building around compliance leads to products that cannot launch

What Success Looks Like

First 30 days — Onboarded into platform architecture and product documentation. Gaps identified. First syncs with Engineering, Compliance, and partners complete.

First 90 days — Discovery converted into commercial hypotheses. First API specs delivered independently. Partner onboarding flow defined. Key risks identified and flagged.

First 6 months — First capabilities live in production. Partner integrations working. Compliance sign-off obtained. Commercial model defined.

Interview Process

  1. HR screening
  2. Product / technical interview
  3. Final interview with product and commercial leadership

What We Offer

  • Ownership of a strategic product from an early stage
  • One of very few platforms in the EU with both MiCA CASP and Payment Institution licences
  • Direct involvement in architecture, roadmap, and commercial decisions
  • High autonomy — no micromanagement
  • Self-funded, stable company — no investor pressure
  • Remote-first
