SPORTS TRADER WITH CHESS KNOWLEDGE

We are looking for a multisport trader who has an understanding of how does the chess world work and run so he can evaluate chess odds and create them himself if needed.

• Maintaining the team's reports and trading documentation.
• Creating presentations for management.
• Benchmarking our offering against competitors: odds, market depth, player market coverage and Bet Builder availability across alternative sports.
• Analysing our performance across key alternative sports, including cricket, horse racing, MMA, boxing, snooker, darts and chess.
• Analysing margin structures by sport, competition and market type, and recommending changes.
• Building and maintaining provider scorecards covering odds accuracy, coverage, suspension timing and settlement errors.
• Building trackers and checks that help traders identify problems before customers do.
• Taking ownership of alternative sports trading and odds creation for top-tier events, including independently setting and managing odds for chess and other relevant sports while ensuring competitive pricing and appropriate risk management.

• 2+ years in trading, trading analysis or a closely related role in sports betting.
• Knowledge of odds, margins, markets and providers.
• Practical experience in alternative sports trading and odds creation, with the ability to independently price top-tier events. Experience in chess trading and odds creation is required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Google tools, including Excel and Google Sheets.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Ability to write clear, concise reports for both trading and non-trading stakeholders.
• Genuine interest in alternative sports, such as cricket, horse racing, MMA, boxing, snooker, darts or chess.
