US SPORTS TRADING ANALYST

The US Sports Trading Analyst will be an integral part of the team going forward. This is a hybrid role combining trading and analysis. You will work alongside our traders on the day-to-day product, while owning the reporting, benchmarking and performance analysis for the team. 

You will make sure the team and management have a clear, accurate picture of how our product is performing, how it compares with the rest of the market, and where it needs to improve.

• Maintaining the team's reports and trading documentation.
• Creating presentations for management.
• Benchmarking our offering against competitors: odds, market depth, player market coverage and Bet Builder availability.
• Analysing our performance on the core US competitions and the international competitions in all four sports.
• Analysing margin structures by sport, competition and market type, and recommending changes.
• Building and maintaining provider scorecards covering odds accuracy, coverage, suspension timing and settlement errors.
• Building trackers and checks that help traders catch problems before customers do.

• 2+ years in trading, trading analysis or a closely related role in sports betting.
• Knowledge of odds, margins, markets and providers.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Google tools such as Excel and Google Sheets.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Ability to write clear, concise reports for people both in and outside of trading.
• Genuine interest in at least two of basketball, ice hockey, baseball or American football.
