Pointspay is developing the future of spending and collecting loyalty points or miles when shopping online. Thanks to Pointspay, members of participating loyalty programs, including Air France/KLM Flying Blue and SAS EuroBonus, can shop at their preferred online shops and pay for their basket in points (or miles) or pay with cash and collect points towards their next reward.

As the Technical Integration Specialist within the Growth department, you will be responsible for launching merchants onto our Network by providing technical support to newly signed customers during the integration process.

This is a fast-paced role is based in Europe (preferably who speaks French) where you will be mainly liaising with new customers’ technical departments and agencies to ensure the implementation of our bespoke payment processing solution is successfully delivered on time in accordance with the agreed campaign roadmaps. Excellent communication skills, technical acumen and a keen eye for details are essential to become a successful candidate.

Your key tasks

Assisting newly signed customers with launching onto the Pointspay network by providing detailed and thorough technical integration support.

 

  • Act as the coordinator and provide technical guidance to merchants and their developers
  • Drive merchant implementations, proactively identify errors and provide feedback on possible solutions
  • Guide merchants through the payment processing required onboarding with our partners
  • Deliver on ongoing integration process targets in terms, matching or improving on timeline and satisfaction targets
  • Identify technical issues/bugs with the integrations and escalate where appropriate
  • Administration of a knowledge base used internally and externally
  • Provide high level insights to internal colleagues
  • Test of new developments and features when needed

In addition, important skills include:

  • Fluent French and English language skills (B2+)
  • Dutch language skills are strong preference
  • Previous professional experience in eCommerce platform plugins and/or payment platforms
  • Ability to understand web languages such as basic HTML, SQL, ActionScript and JavaScript
  • Knowledge on writing MySQL queries is highly desirable
  • Possess strong communication (both verbal and written), and customer service skills, and exchange information with others clearly and concisely
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role
  • Strive to continually improve productivity and quality of work produced
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Understand the importance of processes and procedures and the application of these
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and colleagues, along with working with external suppliers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a commercial team
