What You’ll Do:

  • Lead procurement activities within projects, particularly related to New Product Introduction (NPI), supplier transitions, and procurement optimization initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement projects, ensuring the achievement of schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Procure materials and components for production and R&D requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers, building long-term partnerships and ensuring security of supply.
  • Lead contract and price negotiations, balancing cost efficiency, quality requirements, and supply risks.
  • Coordinate supplier transition processes, ensuring continuity and compliance with technical and quality requirements.
  • Monitor purchase order execution, delivery schedules, and inventory levels, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, quality, and compliance teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on project progress, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Actively contribute to procurement process optimization and broader company development initiatives.

What We are Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist, Procurement Project Specialist, or in a similar role, preferably within the aviation, defense, or high-tech manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in project management, preferably involving procurement projects, New Product Introduction (NPI), supplier transition projects, or procurement process optimization initiatives.
  • Experience in negotiations, contract management, and supplier quotation evaluation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively planning timelines, resources, and risks.
  • Understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their application in procurement and project management.
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems, including order planning, execution monitoring, and reporting.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams.
  • Analytical mindset and a proactive approach to process improvement.
