Hours of work: 40 hours p/w (Mon - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm)


Salary: £26,000.00 - £33,800.00 per annum

Purpose of the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Continuity Admin Assistant to support our Business Continuity Manager. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of business continuity planning, documentation, and communication.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen interest in risk management and operational resilience. The role requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 



Duties and Responsibilities

Procedures

  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and distribution of business continuity plans (BCPs) and disaster recovery documentation. 
  • Maintain accurate records of business continuity activities, including risk assessments, impact analyses, and test results. 
  • Track business continuity plan updates and ensure timely reviews in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements. 
  • Support the tracking and follow-up of action items from continuity planning meetings and audits. 
  • Help prepare reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory external audits. 
  • Support the collection and analysis of data for Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and Risk Assessments. 
  • Compile and maintain records and reports on continuity readiness, test results, and compliance. 
  • Assist in preparing materials for internal audits, regulatory reviews, and reporting for directors. 
  • Coordinate and schedule business continuity meetings, training sessions, and simulation continuity exercises. 
  • Assist in completing post-exercise evaluations including documentation of test results, lessons learned, and improvement plans. 
  • Track participation and feedback from training sessions and exercises. 
  • Support the Liaise with department heads to gather and update continuity-related information. 
  • Provide guidance to departments on documentation standards and submission timelines.
