5G Network Engineer

• Support the design, planning and deployment of 5G private networks to industry customers remotely, and occasionally on premises.
• Be the Lead Engineer of 5G private networks projects assigned by the 5G Customer Projects Director.
• Collaborate with 5G product development team to continuously improve the product.
• Take part in support and operations of the customers’ 5G networks and internal 5G Lab.
• Take part of the On-Call service rotation for providing support 24/7.

• Strong experience in Linux operating system.
• Solid work experience in networking technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex networks.
• Solid work experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong work experience with virtualization technologies.
• Availability to travel to customer premises primarily within Germany but also abroad.
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English.

• Experience with Proxmox.
• Good understanding of layer 2 and 3 networking.
• Knowledge in mobile networks such as 4G and 5G.
• Previous experience in network support and operations roles.
• ITIL Knowledge
