The role:
Developers in this team work on a Mobile Telecommunications software in collaboration with other teams at the company, and are responsible for the maintenance and feature development of the BSS software for one of our clients.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Apply awesome coding skills to knocking features off the products’ executive and features list
- Participate in periodic rapid refactoring that keeps the application code fresh, flexible and reusable
- Participate in team meetings and report development progress to the management
- Work together with QA, Solution Architects and BAs to clarify business requirements
- Suggest improvements for better software quality
- Provide inputs to the team in order to improve the development process
- Recognize opportunities and adopt innovative technologies
Key requirements for the role:
- 4+ years of proven experience designing, developing, and scaling high-volume Java Enterprise Applications
- Fast, clean, efficient code implementation
- Very good knowledge of Java 8, and software design practices
- Very good knowledge and experience with Hibernate and Spring Data JPA/ Spring MVC
- Good knowledge and experience with Maven, PostgreSQL, SOAP
- Experience with Unit testing
- Experience with Gitlab
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
- Solid verbal and communication skills
- Knowledge or experience with Activiti framework or Thymeleaf is a plus
