Key Responsabilites

Programme & Project Leadership


   •        Lead the planning, implementation, and delivery of complex projects within the insurance and financial services sectors.

   •        Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and Marionete stakeholders.

   •        Build, implement, and manage appropriate project governance structures.

   •        Drive project outcomes across the full lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment/go-live.

   •        Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions with proactive mitigation strategies.

   •        Provide clear, concise reporting to client stakeholders and Marionete senior management.

 

Agile Evangelism & Mentorship


   •        Champion Lean-Agile and Scrum/Kanban methodologies, promoting best practices both internally and with clients.

   •        Mentor teams in Agile principles, helping them achieve sustainable delivery velocities.

   •        Support Product Owners and technical teams in backlog refinement, milestone planning, and removing impediments.

   •        Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative problem-solving.

 

Stakeholder & Client Management


   •        Establish and nurture strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for project and account management.

   •        Ensure delivery aligns with client goals, timelines, and budgets.

   •        Collaborate with Marionete’s Business Development and Finance teams to support account growth and maintain profitability.

   •        Represent Marionete at client sites, demonstrating professionalism and consultancy expertise.

 

Consultancy Obligations


   •        Evangelise Marionete’s Ways of Working to promote efficient and successful project delivery.

   •        Contribute to client pitches, proposals, and the expansion of Marionete’s footprint within existing and new accounts.

   •        Maintain an in-depth understanding of client needs to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Requirements

Professional Experience


   •        10–15 years’ experience in project/programme management within the insurance technology sector.

   •        Demonstrated success in managing data platforms, cloud-based AI solutions, and MLOps/Databricks projects.

   •        Expertise in professional services delivery, with strong consultancy and account management skills.

   •        Deep understanding of change management and delivering under complex governance structures.

   •        Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, data analytics, and modern development methodologies.

 

Technical Skills


   •        Proficiency in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban) and working knowledge of PRINCE2 or PMP.

   •        Skilled in backlog management, milestone planning, and KPI tracking.

   •        Strong ability to structure projects, gather and capture requirements and manage change controls effectively.

   •        Experience managing multi-geographical teams and ensuring seamless collaboration across regions.

 

Leadership & Soft Skills


   •        Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.

   •        Exceptional stakeholder management skills, adept at influencing and communicating with senior executives.

   •        Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and drive decision-making.

   •        Experience mentoring junior colleagues, creating a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional growth.

 

Desirable


   •        Experience working with Databricks and modern MLOps workflows in a financial services or insurance context.

   •        Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to the insurance sector.
