As a Configuration Analyst, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and release of product solutions for our clients. This entails the design of journeys, data models, rules, and integrations. Using the Fenergo Platform, we help clients rapidly achieve their business outcomes. Making onboarding of clients faster and reducing enormous amounts of manual work.

The Platform  

Fenergo v10 (aka Fen-X) is a cloud-native SaaS platform built on AWS that is used to help banks and financial institutions go about their business in an efficient and safe way. It is a serverless, highly scalable web platform providing features and full configuration & administration capabilities. All features are delivered through a layer of highly available APIs offering full feature capabilities to any authorized consumer. 


 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain deep working product knowledge of the Fenergo Platform. 
  • Assist in documenting client requirements, understanding the required business outcomes. 
  • Document use-case scenarios to ensure that configuration is resilient (negative testing, edge-cases, etc.) 
  • Translate client requirements into new or modified Fenergo configuration while analysing and resolving any configuration issues. 
  • Perform investigations (spikes) to meet requirements and complete gap analysis using configuration, documenting the options, outcomes, and recommendations. 
  • Validate and test your own configuration. 
  • Follow/implement good tenant practices to ensure multiple project members working in a tenant do not conflict each other’s work/cause loss of work. 
  • Manage your own work in an orderly and thought-out manner, remaining organised to meet deadlines and work with your broader team. 
  • Provide guidance, support, and feedback to other project team members regarding product configuration.  
  • Anticipate and communicate the impact of configuration change to other parts of the configuration in a software tenant. 
  • Document your configuration approach and present to the Product Consultant and/or Client – thereby supporting documentation review and approval process. 
  • Adhere to the change management process as per the project you are working on – in conjunction with the Product Consultant. 
  • Stay abreast of product changes to ensure that you are always aware of the full “toolset” and impact to existing product configuration. 
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the project and client teams. 
  • Support training and knowledge transfer within the Kaha Functional Practice. 
  • Where required: 
  • prepare and deliver training sessions to the Client’s business users. 
  • review and recommend changes to existing configuration processes based on changing business needs. 
  • provide ongoing feedback to the product engineering team in the delivery of product functionality. 

Requirements 


  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities. 
  • Adept with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills. 
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, particularly Agile. 
  • Good knowledge of IT systems, architectures and terminology. 


Preferable experience 


  • Business analysis experience, preferably in the financial services industry (we also value experience brought in from other industries and roles). 
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology discipline. 
  • Experience working on configuration of comparable technology platforms (e.g. MS Dynamics) 
  • Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment with ALM systems (e.g. Azure/JIRA/Trello). 
  • Experience with solution design techniques (e.g., business process modelling). 
  • Client-facing delivery exposure – seeing software through the release cycle. 
  • Experience with Financial Services Processes, Financial Regulation, and Products, particularly relating to client- and product-onboarding, would be advantageous.
