Middle PHP Back-end Developer

As a Backend Developer, you will join a team of developers working on company own products and services. Work is organized in teams (Devs, Devops QA, BA, etc.) and agile practices used in managing projects and workload.

We are looking for a talented PHP engineer, with experience in commercial projects, rich experience in Backend, service-oriented architecture, great software development skills, quick and sharp mind, ability to think outside the box and at same time willing to grow within the company.

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and high-quality PHP code
• Take part in code reviews
• Developing features from start to finish, refactoring legacy code to increase stability and performance, with continual testing for reliability
• Identify bottlenecks, bugs and invent a solution for these problems
• Take part in technical production support and on-call shifts
• Work closely with your Team and Lead
• Collaborate with other engineers to improve existing architecture and increase productivity

Required Experience:

• PHP (3+ years), Symfony 6/7
• Relational databases/NoSQL (i.e. MariaDB/Redis)
• Message brokers (i.e. RabbitMQ)
• GRASP of OOP and DDD
• Design patterns and development principles
• Understanding microservice architecture
• Writing test (unit, integration, functional)

Soft skills expected:

• A desire to grow, efficiently collaborate and become part of a big team with other team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team as well as independently
• Documenting technical designs
• Desire to share knowledge and best practices
• English sufficient for communication spoken and written

The following experience will be considered as advantage:

• Experience with AWS Stack - SNS/SQS, Dynamo, ApiGW
• Experience with various Payments integrations (Card processing gateways, PayPal, etc.)
• Experience with Crypto or Blockchain technologies
• Devops experience (Terraform, Serverless), desire to work on CI/CD automation (Gitlab, Jira, Docker)
