Expansion has seen Lexham grow its portfolio of products, now offering in excess of 20 different insurance products including exclusive schemes for moped, scooter, motorcycle and motorhome insurance as well as bespoke products in both the motor trade and commercial market.

 

As part of a group, Lexham partners with Lancaster Gate Assistance Ltd who provide credit hire and FNOL services, CAM Legal Services Ltd a firm of personal injury claim lawyers and LXM Management Ltd who provide financing options.

ROLE PURPOSE

We’re looking for an Accidental Damage Claims Adjuster to join our expanding team, based in Diss, South Norfolk. In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of motorcycle and motorhome claims within delegated authority limits.

Full training will be provided.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage a case load of around 200 own damage motor claims from first notification through to settlement ensuring accurate assessment of policy coverage, indemnity, and liability in line with policy terms and company processes.
  • Review engineer reports, repair estimates, total loss valuations, and invoices to accurately assess quantum.
  • Set and maintain appropriate reserves in line with company reserving procedures, updating as the claim progresses.
  • Progress repairs efficiently, liaising with approved repairers, engineers, salvage agents, and other suppliers.
  • Handle total loss claims, including valuation discussions and settlement negotiations within delegated authority.
  • Maintain regular diary reviews to ensure proactive claim progression and timely resolution.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and empathetic communication to policyholders throughout the claims lifecycle.
  • Respond promptly to all telephone and written enquiries, delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate concerns in line with internal procedures.
  • Achieve individual and team performance targets relating to indemnity spend, leakage control, lifecycle, and customer outcomes.

  • Good computer literacy and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
