ABOUT THE ROLE


Offshore Wind in Taiwan is a growing and dynamic field. With the increasing focus on sustainability and the urgent need to address climate change, there has been a surge in demand for professionals with expertise in offshore wind energy project development and execution.


Our office in Taipei is located at the Xinyi District and serves as a hub for our Offshore Wind business in the rapidly growing renewables market within the APAC region.


We are looking for a Contract focused Managing Consultant and Lead Consultant to consistently develop existing & new candidate networks and client relationships, work in the project development and execution vertical to become the go-to individual and subject matter expert and make a meaningful impact on your career, your team and more widely on the transition to renewable energy.


The role reports to our APAC Business Manager Natasha Wu and sits within a team of three other colleagues. The wider Taylor Hopkinson team in Taipei comprises of six colleagues who are focussed on perm recruitment and our Office Manager. We also have teams in Singapore, Korea, Japan and Australia.

WHAT YOU’LL DO


As a Managing Consultant or Lead Consultant at Taylor Hopkinson, you will build trusted long-term relationships with clients and candidates to connect high-calibre specialists to roles at global renewables companies.


Day-to-day responsibilities


  • Develop relationships existing clients and start taking on client accounts (account management)
  • Deliver on open roles on these accounts (delivery)
  • Find and engage new clients (business development)
  • Share market information with colleagues globally
  • Record activity appropriately on Bullhorn/CRM systems
  • Learn about the offshore wind / renewables sector


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


Must-have's


  • Mid level experience in an agency recruitment role preferably with a renewable energy focus
  • A genuine interest in the renewables sector and a real ambition to become an expert in your field
  • An energetic and positive approach to work, with a passion to foster strong relationships and develop networks
  • A strong communicator who can understand and discuss technical aspects of roles with colleagues and candidates
  • A willingness to share your knowledge and build relationships internally and externally
  • Good level of fluency in English
