Founders Associate

We’re looking for a motivated Founder’s Associate (m/f/d) to support support our strategic and operational business. 

In your day-to-day work, you’ll ensure that our business-critical services are optimised and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

In the role as a founders associate you will:

• Develop the expansion strategy with the Founder Team
• Support the Founder Team in rescoping, optimising and expanding our Business globally (EU, US, LATAM, APAC)  
• Analyse the new product and customer segments to subsequently plan and implement the innovative growth initiatives with the Director Customer Success and regional Sales Leads
• Design a roadmap towards our Sustainability promise
• Optimise current processes across all areas in the venture as well as create new ones together with our process Management
• support in daily challenges of the founders team

• Strong team player with first experience in a highly competitive environment such as Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Venture Capital or a high-growth startup
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and curiosity for new technologies
• Flexible generalist and solution-oriented pragmatic
• Interested in and passionate about growth startup and to work towards a paradigm shift in agriculture together with an international team
• Winning Personality with strong analytical and communication skills
• Hands-on mentality - only the implementation satisfies you
• Ability to speak directly with customers, suppliers, partners and investors, and take the initiative to get involved
• Business German and English proficiency
• Knowledge in agriculture or agtech preferable
• Knowledge in Impact and ESG topics preferable
• Interest in feed and food, animal welfare and a diverse customer landscape
• Analytical thinking and an affinity for numbers
• Excellent communication skills in dealing with different stakeholders

Corbiota aims to create a more sustainable modern farming by providing young animals with natural and animal-friendly nutrition. Feeding young animals with Corbiota’s earthworms strengthens their eubiosis, the natural balance of microorganisms in their gut and immune system and triggers their natural instincts. They grow up stronger, healthier and more resistant towards diseases, reducing the need for antibiotics treatment - one of the biggest global challenges in today’s farming.

In addition corbiota offers natural fertilizer and recently started a research project on crops. 

Corbiota serves several UN Sustainability goals, is funded by the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and is part of Scale-Up.NRW, while the company started in 2019 as a venture of BASF’s business incubator Chemovator GmbH. It has been founded as an independent Company in 2022 and is based in Düsseldorf. Germany.
