Nail Technician

The Role

The Nail Technician will report to the Head Therapist and is responsible for delivering prompt service for each appointment and performs services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.

Key duties and responsibilities:

•  Provide consistent professional nail services in accordance with accepted certification practices and the spa protocols
• Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns as well as actively promotes home care programs
• Properly care for equipment , assist with control of product use and use proper amounts of product in services
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures as set in the Therapists Game Plan
•  Perform prep work and properly cleans and restocks work area as required
• Communicate to your supervisors and coaches any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
• Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously providing accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests ensuring complete guest satisfaction
•  Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa
• Assist Spa Reception desk when available and in all areas of spa operation as requested by your supervisors and coaches

·        Complete knowledge and International qualifications (or qualifications equivalent to international standards) are required in Nail Care

• Understanding of all services and products along with previous experience in a 5 star spa is preferred
• Secondary level education is required as well as good communication, excellent customer service and basic computation skills are necessary
• Certification in First Aid and CPR
• A friendly and outgoing personality and enjoys working with people
• Enthusiasm, ability to work without direct supervision and ability to be a team player

They must also work with hands for prolonged periods of time. The successful candidate must be flexible with their schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
