The Deputy Clinical Lead for Community Services reports into the Clinical Lead for Community Services and is responsible for clinically supporting the Community team and deputising for the Clinical Lead of Community Services when required.

 

You will support the Clinical Lead for Community Service in operationally managing the Community Service team. You will be a competent clinician able to review, assess and treat patients within the community with complex needs.

Knowledge and Experience

 Qualifications

Essential

·        Registered Nurse (Degree/Masters level)  

·        Current NMC Registration  

Desirable

·        Qualification in end of life/palliative care nursing

·        Postgraduate Certificate in Education

·        Clinically orientated Masters level qualification, (or working towards)

  • Independent Nurse Prescribing Level 6
  • Physical Health Assessment Level 6


Knowledge and experience

Essential

·        Experience of working in a community setting

·        Experience of working in palliative care

·        Experience of multi-disciplinary working

·        Experience of mentoring

·        Teaching experience

·        Leadership experience
