Assistant Finance and Banking Analyst- Glasgow

Barrhead Travel is looking for an experienced Finance & Banking Analyst to join our finance team.

The role is fast-paced, rewarding and incredibly diverse.

Here’s some key information about the role:

 Reconciliation

•Bank account and credit card reconciliations

•Daily monitoring and month end / year end summaries

Data Analysis and Reporting

•Analyse transactional data to detect anomalies or areas for improvement

•Focus on improving compliance within department and across business

Process Improvement:

•Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and to streamline processes.

•Assist in the development of automated tools or systems to improve reconciliation efficiency and data analysis.



•Support management with audit and other ad hoc needs

Skills

Essential:

•Strong excel skills including familiarity with lookup formulae, pivot tables etc

Desirable

•Experience/interest in financial reconciliation or data analysis
