Reporting to the QA Lead, the QA Automation Tester will be a key player to ensure the successful delivery of quality software. This role will work closely with all stakeholders in the software delivery lifecycle to validate each release and enhance the manual and automated test coverage across the suite. The ideal candidate is used to dealing with a fast-paced environment and implementing test suites across both new and legacy software features. ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute automated test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support to understand project requirements and ensure the successful delivery of quality software.
  • Utilize automation frameworks (both front and backend) and tools to perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Analyze and report test results to ensure that the software meets or exceeds the defined quality standards.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and provide feedback on product design, requirements, and functionality.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong experience in automation using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies, software development lifecycles, and agile development practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD/DevOps and sec ops will be highly regarded
  • Ability to write SQL queries to validate data.
  • Experience of having worked on a translation management suite of applications advantageous.
