Job Description:

As a Mechanical Engineer at UAB Ruptela, you will be an integral part of our product development process. Your expertise in 3D modeling and experience with plastics will be key in designing, prototyping, and launching our products into mass production. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, you will transform innovative ideas into reality, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Housing Development: Design and develop housing for our GPS tracking devices.
• Innovation: Identify and implement new solutions to enhance existing products.
• Prototyping: Create and test prototypes using 3D printing and other technologies.
• Collaboration: Work with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation and specifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
• Development: Developing test jigs/fixtures for RnD and manufacturing teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience in 3D modeling (using software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with plastics, including material selection and design for manufacturability.
• Experience with prototyping and 3D printing technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.

An advantage to have:

The salary range for this position is from 3400 EUR gross per month to 4500 EUR gross per month. Final offer to the candidate will be based on qualifications, competencies, and professional experiences.
