Salary:  £38,500.00 - £43,500.00 per annum


Purpose of the role

This role will develop and lead the CRH Engagement activities in the dispersed accommodation sector across the South of England and Wales. The role will report to Head of Property and Procurement to provide an opportunity to collaboratively shape and deliver an engagement strategy to support the business and to provide assurance to stakeholders.

 

Working with the wider procurement and property team the role will manage a portfolio of dispersed properties, including standard and ODA/ larger sites and lead on the engagement across all stakeholders and partners. This role will support Head of Property and Procurement in developing key relationships and ensuring CRH representation at all necessary meetings. The role will require a recent background in engagement and stakeholder management. The role will work with the Procurement/ property teams, operations and wider CRH teams who will work in partnership to produce comms material, information sharing protocols and continuous improvement processes as a result of this essential and rewarding work.



Duties and Responsibilities

Procedures

  • Manage a portfolio of dispersed accommodation engagement meetings.
  • Provide direct input into continuous improvement processes
  • Building successful stakeholder relationships, engaging confidently with leaders and colleagues across all required contract areas
  • Building positive relationships with external stakeholders, and third sector groups and proactively lead all engagement
  • Identifying and informing real business needs at a practical level

 

 Connect and Collaborate

  • Forge excellent communication with the senior leadership team in procurement and property in order to fully understand the business needs and communication and manage all stakeholder expectations.
  • Proactively communicate and build relationships with SPOCs from all local authorities
  • Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required
  • Exceptional Communication: Ability to articulate complex issues clearly, concisely, and diplomatically
  • Work closely with your line manager and team members
  • Supporting team members and provide on-the-job training
  • Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager

  • Ensure all records are maintained and kept up-to-date according to company policies and procedures
