APC is currently looking to appoint a HR Officer to be part of this rapidly growing organisation.

 

Role Purpose

 

Manages the implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures and systems. Supports managers and employees in HR related areas.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

HR Operations


  • Co-ordinate HR operations governance and compliance; including audit readiness of HR information, ensuring that all employees adhere to the people policies, processes and systems.
  • Support the HR Functional Lead in the management of people priorities and change management processes as required.
  • Promote HR initiatives and programmes to support the development of an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Recording of absence, sickness etc in line with Company policies and practices.
  • Ensure all HR record-keeping and filing is maintained to the meet all legislative and policy requirements.
  • Ensure that all probation reviews have been carried out for all relevant employees and support line management to ensure an effective probationary period.
  • Stay updated on changes within the HR legislative landscape and develop and implement new policies and procedures within the Employee Handbook framework.
  • Maintain the HRIS and prepare and analyse data with useful HR metrics. Prepare reports for management as required. Fully utilise HRIS to the company’s advantage.
  • Ensure all new employees are trained on the HRIS and that all required data is updated on the system.
  • Company Intern and Graduate Program Coordinator – ensure delivery of both programs on an annual basis incl. resourcing, recruitment and onboarding/offboarding.
  • New Hire Induction – to ensure our New Starters feel welcome and receive exceptional and unique experience when joining the Company. Collaborate with L&D, line managers and buddies on induction plans.
  • Support and review disciplinary and grievance processes to ensure standards are maintained and managers understand the process and deliver professionally.
  • Assist HR Functional Lead with any other H.R. related issues.

 

Recruitment & On-Boarding


  • Provide support to the recruiting managers at all stages of the recruitment and selection process.
  • Prepare interview packs for interviewers and support the interviews as required.
  • Prepare offer details and contract packs for the successful candidates and complete all reference checks.
  • Manage and administer the employee referral policy.
  • Co-ordinate the on-boarding process for new starters, including the probationary process and induction training. Work closely with the managers to ensure that the on-boarding process is managed effectively

 

Safety & Quality Compliance


  • Promote a compliant culture of Safety and Quality by demonstration through day-to-day tasks.
  • Consistently adhere to procedure, support continuous improvement and thorough problem solving – for all works including audit and investigations processes.
  • Actively engage with and promote Safety & Quality reporting, e.g., safety adverse events and quality non-conformances.
  • Where Safety & Quality tasks are assigned, own the tasks and track to completion.
  • Ensure Safety & Quality requirements for any site visitors/vendors are clearly communicated and are in place to support.
