We are seeking to appoint an EPU Clinical Operations Manager to join our dedicated team in Manchester.


Excellent team leader/management skills are must in this busy role!


FOCUS OF THE JOB: 

  • Ensure the smooth running of business activities at the Early Phase Unit in accordance with ICH-GCP, MHRA Phase 1 Accreditation and MAC SOPs.
  • Optimise profitability by leading the MAC team to meet/exceed business projections.
  • Responsible for the management, administration and organisation of local site operations for the Early Phase Unit
  • Responsible for meeting defined metric goals and meeting the need of Sponsors to provide safe and efficient delivery of studies. Working with the ward sister and medical leads to create and maintain a culture of clinical excellence, process improvement, effective leadership and high standards of patient care particularly in accordance with Phase 1 accreditation guidelines
  • Line management of EPU staff

 

Requirements

  • RGN / RMN or
  • BSc Nursing / Biomedical or
  • BSc in a scientific field / relevant clinical trial experience
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the field of clinical trials, Early Phase preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience with line management (essential)
