What you will do

About the Role:

We are looking for a Project Manager to drive ad-hoc projects across our operations and IT functions in Kenya. This is a broad, hands-on delivery role: you will take projects of all sizes from idea to completion - from analysing a single process with our data analysts, to building practical tools for teams in the field, to coordinating the launch of larger IT initiatives across branches and agents. You will work closely with operations, IT, sales, and the wider product team, acting as the person who keeps projects organised, on track, and delivered. This role reports to the Product Owner.

What You Will Do

Process Analysis & Insights:

  • Work with data analysts to review processes and performance across areas such as sales data and customer app usage, turning findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Map how processes currently work, identify bottlenecks or gaps, and propose practical improvements
  • Define what data and reporting is needed, and coordinate with analysts to ensure the right metrics are tracked
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to operations, IT, and management stakeholders

Ad-hoc Operational Projects:

  • Lead a varied pipeline of ad-hoc projects requested by different teams, scoping each one and seeing it through to delivery
  • Build practical tools - such as Excel trackers, dashboards, and templates - that help teams manage and monitor their work
  • Design and roll out new or improved processes, and ensure they are documented and adopted by the relevant teams
  • Coordinate the people involved, set timelines, track progress, and keep everyone aligned to completion

IT Project Delivery:

  • Plan and coordinate the launch of larger IT projects, including preparing launch plans, timelines, and rollout steps
  • Organise and run testing before go-live - coordinate testers, document issues, and ensure they are resolved
  • Plan and deliver training for branches and agents, and support adoption during and after rollout
  • Work with internal IT teams and external vendors to align on requirements, timelines, and acceptance criteria
  • Monitor projects after launch, hand over operational processes to the relevant teams, and capture lessons learned

Across All Projects:

  • Manage delivery end to end - define scope, coordinate stakeholders, track progress, and ensure timely completion
  • Identify and escalate risks or blockers early, and keep the Product Owner informed of progress throughout
