The Opportunity

As we build up for an exciting 2025 season, The Yorkshire County Cricket Club are looking to recruit a number of casual Customer Operations Assistants to support the Ticket Office team.


This role will help support the Ticket Office and Membership staff in providing a high level of customer service over the phone, electronically and face-to-face when processing a variety of ticketing, membership and Cricket Centre related queries. This role will play a key role on match days at Headingley, York and Scarborough to deliver a high-quality service for those in attendance and ensure any ticket related queries are dealt with. 


What this role will include:


  • Assisting t in the selling of a variety of ticketing and membership related products on the relevant software.
  • To provide high levels of front of house customer service when processing sales and advising on general enquiries, particularly in person on matchdays, but also over the phone and electronically.
  • To assist with any required preparation for matches at Headingley and outgrounds, for example turnstile tickets, car park passes, complimentary ticket schemes.
  • To regularly provide high levels of customer service over the phone, in person and electronically. 


This role will require frequent evening and weekend working.

About You

To apply for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:


  • Previous experience in a fast paced, preferably sports related, customer facing environment.
  • Familiarity with delivering high levels of customer service in person, over the phone and electronically.
  • Good knowledge of IT systems including Excel and Word
  • Strong communication skills and a natural ability to engage and assist with a diverse range of individuals and groups
  • Acceptance of requirement to work flexible hours including occasional weekends and evenings
