We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join our team. The person will have a unique opportunity to establish and build an Internal Audit function in our company! This position will have a first-row seat of inner workings of our growing company that has spread across 16 markets and ‘yes’ will also require travelling to those markets too!
What you will need:
- Willingness and ability to be the author/creator of the Internal Audit function within one of the largest companies in Baltics with a global footprint
- 3+ [5+] years of experience in the audit or finance industry, including internal (potentially also risk and compliance) control functions
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a relevant curriculum
- Project management (ideally cross-border) and distinguished analytical skills
- Proactive mindset, can-do attitude, ‘drivers’ mindset and the one who controls the agenda
- Fluency in English and Latvian
- Certifications such as CIA, ACCA or similar and experience in finance industry would be considered as an advantage
What you will do:
- Create an Internal Audit Plan that is approved by Company’s Board
- Perform a risk assessment that serves as an input to the Internal Audit Plan
- Plan, manage and lead internal audit engagements across Group’s companies
- Document the audit engagement process, structure the evidence and prepare the audit reports
- Communicate and present the results of audit engagement and audit report itself to the Group’s Management, Board and Audit Committee
