SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Technician 3 will assist more experienced technicians and provide project and process support as required. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Roll changes and associated tasks

• Complete Die cleaning and maintenance

• Carry out Teflon changes and associated tasks

• Conduct process support/trouble shooting of process issues.

• Perform equipment set up and changeovers

• Assist more experienced Technicians in their daily tasks.

• Carry out scheduled PM checks

• Perform Injection mould changes

• Provide project and process support as required

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• Ensure environmental impact of all operations is considered

• Be familiar with a variety of processes to allowing for working across a number of product lines.

• Perform other duties/ad hoc projects as required

• Conform to the requirements of the quality and environmental management system.

• Be available for shift work if required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Have an aptitude and willingness to learn and gain experience.

• Experience as a fitter, toolmaker, or electrician is desirable; 

• Relevant qualification in related discipline is desirable 

• Strong team player, with the ability to work on own initiative. 

• Ability to work in a cross functional team.
