We are recruiting a competent Finance Administrator to join our highly successful team in our Glasgow Head Office. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the finance department, focusing on contractor payroll and invoicing processes. The successful candidate will be organised, diligent, proactive and a very strong communicator. The Role:


• Review and check all monthly contractor invoices received into our dedicated contractor 

mailbox. Identify discrepancies and resolve issues.

• Follow up with contractors to obtain missing/late timesheets and invoices.

• Be the key point of contact for identifying and/or resolving queries and discrepancies in relation 

to contractor time, cost and invoicing.

• Raise contractor sales invoices in a timely/accurate manner and issue to clients.

• Maintenance of relevant systems to ensure that contractors are on/off boarded in a timely and 

accurate manner as well as ensuring that all relevant transactions are recorded in a timely and 

accurate manner.

• Completion of all tasks & responsibilities in line with company policies and procedures

• Ensure payments to contractors are approved and processed on time.

• Management of the contactor inbox, ensuring that queries and issues are responded to in line 

with SLAs.

• Ad hoc support on financial projects and other duties within the finance department

• Building positive and professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and contractors

Requirements

  •  Excellent organisational skills to successfully manage multiple projects and work streams simultaneously
  •  Time management skills to prioritise urgent and important tasks ensuring project deadlines are achieved
  • High level of numerical literacy and financial understanding of business to effectively administrate finances.
  • Detail oriented approach to ensure accuracy of information
  • High level of communication skills demonstrated both verbally and in writing, to ensure a clear understanding for all parties eliminating miscommunications.
  •  Stakeholder management skills to influence and manage the behaviour and expectations of internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, suppliers and clients.
  • Problem solving skills to ensure that obstacles to success and various challenges are successfully overcome
  • Forward planning to make decisions ahead of time to ensure potential problems do not materialise
  • Effective use of technology including Navision RSM In-time, online portal, Bullhorn, Cube 19, Navision and MS Office
