Duty Officer (Bradford Park Avenue)

As the beating heart of cricket in Bradford, Park Avenue is building up for an exciting and busy summer in 2024. With the recent addition of our world class 10-bay all-weather dome, we are now looking to grow our workforce for the anticipated busy period ahead. We are looking to recruit a number of fixed term Duty Officers to help manage and maintain the upkeep of the all-weather dome. This role will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the all-weather dome and will be the key point of contact on site for any queries. The facility is open 7 days a week from 10am and 10pm so this role will include evening and weekend working. 

What this role will include:

• Opening and closing down of the site;
• Setting up any relevant equipment for customer use;
• Ensuring the facility is kept clean, safe and presentable at all times;
• Be the main point of contact for any queries people may have; and
• Health and safety responsibilities including first aid point of contact and fire marshal.

Please note: This is not an exhaustive list and the role may be required to undertake additional roles and responsibilities as identified from time to time in order to meet the ongoing requirements of the company.

To apply for this role, you will be required to meet the below essential criteria:

Previous experience in a customer facing role;

• Good communication skills;
• Ability to use initiative and be proactive;
• Excellent organisation and time management skills;
• Willing to work alone for prolonged periods of time; and
• Good understanding of health and safety and first aid skills.

This role will require you to complete a disclosure barring service check (DBS), First Aid and relevant safeguarding training for the role.
