Description

We are seeking to recruit experienced, enthusiastic Clinical Receptionists into Site Lead roles for Badger’s face-to-face centres, specifically supporting Badger’s out of hours sites currently operating and those due to open in the future. Successful candidates will have a proven ability to lead and support teams in a busy clinical environment and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in line with Badger’s Safe, Efficient, Respect and Quality values. The role requires a good knowledge of Adastra systems and IT Microsoft systems, alongside a clear commitment to attend onsite when required. This is an exciting opportunity, and the site lead roles will be key to building on improvements for patients and colleagues.


The Site Lead will support safe, and efficient service delivery at Badger’s face to-face centres, including current and future out of hours sites, and nurture and support the whole team at the centres. The postholder will work closely with the Clinical Operations Manager and Operations Manager with a particular focus on day-to-day service delivery. A key element of this will be nurturing and supporting the Badger team at the centres, and links with partner organisation(s) at the site(s). The Site Lead will focus on Reception, Clinical Reception, and Healthcare Support Workers, including audit, feedback, and new starter and refresher training. The role will also support testing and delivery of continuous improvement at the centres, stock ordering and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) standards.


The postholder will have 4 - 6 hours per week of protected time for Site Lead responsibilities and will be expected to attend onsite when required during operational hours to support operational delivery and help resolve operational issues within their capability and remit across Badger’s out of hours sites.

The postholder must be able to drive to attend sites as required and must have a good knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft applications, to curate document updates and communication notices.


Requirements

To be eligible to apply, you must:

  • Be trained and competent as a Clinical Receptionist
  • Be up to date with all mandatory training
  • Have a good attendance record
  • Be confident using systems and technology
  • Be able to travel between and attend Out of Hours sites as required
