Would you like to be part of a cutting edge, chartered building firm? 


We are currently looking for a Contracts Manager to ensure the profitable delivery of high quality, building repair services through the effective management of resources whilst achieving high levels of customer and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to.


On a weekly basis... 

• Keep the contract plan up to date (1 week in advance) and ensure all colour codes are adhered to

• Maintain WIP report and ensure dates are an accurate reflection of the ongoing works • Prepare highlighted job sheets to tradesmen and sub-contractors

• Receive signed completed jobs sheets and schedules from tradesmen and sub-contractors

• Prepare and update a monthly invoice index

• Responsible for all Contractual Administrations for all projects

• Site visits, onsite training for tradesmen and scoring

• Attend PCM meetings on jobs over £20k if required

• Day-to-day relationships with clients

• Oversee sub-contracted work ensuring quality of work is to an acceptable standard and programme of works achieved.

On a monthly basis...

• Deliver sales targets in line with budget (Turnover & GP %)

• Monthly Finance Meetings with Finance Director

• Monthly update to Commercial Operations Manager (Report format to be agreed) 

• Recruit and lead a motivated, skilled and effective team

• Complete all team personal reviews on an annual basis

• Team performance management and absence in line with company procedures

To succeed in this role we believe you need


• Excellent general building industry knowledge and repair sequencing / duration

• Material purchasing

• HSE demands including CDM requirements

• Understanding of adjacent job roles and trades

• Ability to understand scopes of work & surveys of all kinds
