Accounting Assistant (Phuket-Based)

We are seeking people keen to join our rapidly expanding Business Services and Outsourcing team in Phuket. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing accounting teams in Thailand as part of BDO global network.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and relevant reconciliations (i.e. Bank, AR, AP, Fix Asset Register, and details of other balance sheet accounts), depending on size of the clients.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly and annual tax returns (PND. 2, 3, 53, 54, PP. 30, 36).
  • Assist in preparation of annual financial statements preparation, annual tax returns, and filing with Department of Business Development and Revenue Department.
  • Deliver all tasks on time and with quality.
  • Coordinate with auditor and government officials, when needed.
  • Advise clients on non-complicated matters about bookkeeping, accounting standards, revenue codes, and other related matters.
  • Perform any other related assignments.


Qualifications

  • Thai nationality
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 1-2 years experience in accounting field
  • Good command of accounting software and Excel
  • Good command of both Thai and English
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Growth mindset
  • Team player
  • Xero certification or experience in Xero accounting software (a plus)
