Responsibilities

As a 'Senior Manager' your main responsibility is to lead the accounting team as well as the oversee operations of BDO Phuket.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice to the management team.
  • Oversee Phuket team on operation tasks.
  • Supervising accounting members.
  • Manage client relationships by monitoring client needs and building value into professional service.
  • Draft engagement letters for new clients.
  • Serve as a key point of contact on day-to-day accounting matters for the client.
  • Utilize technology to properly account for all accounting transactions for the client in real-time.
  • Review month-end balancing and journal entries and provide, and analysis of GL accounts.
  • Review reports, returns, and other documents are required, including sales tax reports, year-end tax forms, monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, and other reports required by clients.
  • Make recommendations on how to streamline processes for our clients.
  • Provide mentoring and technical training for staff in the accounting service area.
  • Participates in the area of business development.

Qualifications

  • Thai nationality.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in the field of accounting.
  • Experience in managing team/supervision is a must.
  • Prior experience preparing information for audits.
  • Strong knowledge of the Thai Revenue Code.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle concurrent demands.
  • Good command of English both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge or experience in Accounting System (Xero is a plus).
