We’re looking for a Database Administrator to level up our data infrastructure. You’ll shape how our organization stores, accesses, and leverages data - ensuring it’s reliable, secure, and ready to support bold ideas.

• Administer and maintain PostgreSQL, MySQL databases, ensuring their availability, performance, and security
• Configure and manage database clusters, including multi-node cluster configurations
• Conduct performance tuning and capacity management to ensure databases operate efficiently
• Implement, manage and perform testing of backup and recovery solutions for PostgreSQL or MySQL databases. 
• Utilize automation and configuration management tools to streamline database operations and improve reliability
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise 
• Collaborate with other teams to define and implement improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions in line with least-privilege and data protection requirements
• Plan and execute database upgrades, patching, and version migrations with minimal downtime

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Strong knowledge of database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security best practices
• Experience with database migration and integration processes
• Experience with DB replication, Disaster Recovery and Database load testing

Bonus points for:

• Any IT/Clouds certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Database - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate)
• Experience with cloud-based databases administration (AWS, Azure) 
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, SQL, etc.) for automation
• Git experience 
• Terraform experience

• Gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €4,500
