Risk Officer

 

As Risk Officer you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the organization’s operations, reputation, or financial performance. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.:

·Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework and corporate risk governance structure through policies and procedures aligned with the company’s business strategy, with a clear goal and vision to mitigate all relevant risks the company is exposed to.

·Establish and perform a routine monitoring process with a clear reporting structure and workflow to evaluate credit, operational, and other relevant risks, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

·Establish a system and a workflow to identify and protect from potential risks that may impact on the company’s reputation, security, stability, and financial prosperity.

·Active participation in the development of the company’s risk strategy.


·Manage and oversee the loan portfolio to understand and evaluate portfolio quality with aim to propose initiatives and actions for quality improvements.

·Analyze the loan portfolio and client’s behavior based on predefined parameters using SQL and advanced Excel tools.

·Establish, perform and monitor risk controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the general risk strategy of the company.

·Supervise and manage the risk management team.

·Coordinate with other departments to identify and manage risks across the entire organization.

·Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the risk management processes and make necessary improvements.

·Monitor market trends and external factors (economic, regulatory, geopolitical) that may introduce new risks or affect the company's risk profile.

·Propose and implement innovative tools and technologies for risk management, including automation and digital solutions.

·Prepare and present risk related reports to the Risk committee.

·Provide training programs and raise awareness among employees on risk management practices.

  

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, law, or a related field
  • Experience in risk management or portfolio management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient with risk management software and tools (advanced knowledge and usage of SQL and Excel tools)
