Kaha Consulting is the US Consulting arm of Kaha, founded in South Africa. We are looking for new team members to help grow the US and North American presence of our company. Kaha has worked with Fenergo since 2017, helping power Fenergo and developing a reputation for software design and delivery excellence along the way. Kaha is a Fenergo Implementation Partner. 

As a Technical Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and release of integration solutions for our clients. This entails the analysis of existing systems, their data models, security requirements, and the integrations required. It will also include oversight of the design of journeys, data models, rules, and integrations all necessary to meet the client’s business requirements using the Fenergo Platform. Ultimately, we make the onboarding of clients faster and reducing huge amounts of manual work.

The Platform

Fenergo v10 (aka FenX) is a cloud-native SaaS platform built on AWS that is used to help banks and financial institutions go about their business in an efficient and safe way. It is a serverless, highly scalable web platform providing features and full configuration & administration capabilities. All features are delivered through a layer of highly available APIs offering full feature capabilities to any authorized consumer.

• Lead technical analysis and technical solution designs for integration solutions with the Fenergo Platform.
• Develop and maintain deep working product and technical knowledge of the Fenergo Platform – you will need to become both a functional and technical expert.
• Elicit and document client’s technical requirements, understanding the required business outcomes.
• Support the configuration and evaluation of various SaaS platform options in line with business requirements.
• Document use-case scenarios to ensure that technical solutions are resilient (negative testing, edge-cases, etc.)
• Manage the documentation review and approval process with the client.
• Support the decomposition of solutions into work items to allow for estimation and delivery.
• Perform investigations (spikes) to meet requirements and complete gap analysis using configuration, integrations and document the options, outcomes, and recommendations.
• Deliver technical product and solution demonstrations, and presentations to new and existing clients.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and scope control. 
• Participate in the change management process as per the project you are working on.
• Support the analysis and resolution of configuration issues based on the client’s design and requirements. 
• Review and recommend changes to existing configuration processes based on changing business needs, while anticipating the impacts to other areas of the solution configuration and integrations.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the project and client teams.
• Provide guidance and support to more junior team members.
• Support training and knowledge transfer within the Kaha Technical Hybrid Practice
• Provide SME support to the Sales / Pre-Sales teams and Professional Services client-facing project teams.
• Stay abreast of Product changes to ensure that you are always aware of the full “toolset” and impact to existing integrations & solutions.
• Elicit feedback for growth and provide feedback to other team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years systems analysis, development or design experience, preferably in the financial services industry (we also value experience brought in from other industries and roles!).
• Experience with low-level solution design techniques (e.g. ERD modelling, sequence diagrams, business process modelling, solution documentation).
• Excellent knowledge of IT systems, architectures and terminology.
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

Preferable Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or technology discipline.
• Working in an Agile Software Development environment using ALM systems, e.g. Azure/JIRA/Trello.
• Experience working on configuration of comparable technology platforms (e.g. MS Dynamics)
• Database, SQL and Reporting Skills.
• Client-facing delivery exposure – seeing software through the release cycle.
• Previous experience in building cross-system integrations using APIs
• Experience with Financial Services Processes, Financial Regulation, and Products, particularly relating to client- and product-onboarding, would be advantageous.
