As Retail Bank Staff for St Giles Hospice you will support in providing cover to one or more stores, in the absence of the community shop management team. Cover is provided on a flexible and mutual agreeable basis. You’ll work within and for your local community ensuring that engagement and support is understood and promoted. 

 

You’ll understand why customer service is key and want to be part of a successful team. Ideally, you’ll have had previous supervisory experience, be able to demonstrate leadership and have the ability to work with and motivate any volunteer team.   

 

Reporting into the Community Shop Manager (CSM) and working closely with the Regional Manager you will aid in the efficient running of our stores in order that we deliver a positive financial contribution to the Hospice.  

 

The estate includes 23 shops and e-commerce operation with a turnover of approx. £3million which supports the overall income generation strategy.
