YOUR MISSION

As the Regional Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of four Group Companies in Southern Africa—Namibia, Zambia, Botswana, and Lesotho. Reporting directly to the Group Board, you will act as a key connection between the Group Board, country CEOs, function leaders and Group function leaders, ensuring alignment and execution of business strategies, operational execution, and financial performance.


In this hands-on role, you will oversee strategic initiatives, manage key projects, and drive their effective implementation. By leveraging data-driven insights, you will support business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and optimize decision-making to strengthen performance across the region.


  • Ensure strategic alignment and effective execution of cross-functional initiatives between the Group Board, country CEOs, function leaders and Group function leaders
  • Drive the performance of Group Companies in the Southern Africa, ensuring the achievement of budgetary goals, KPIs, and business development objectives
  • Lead and oversee cross-functional projects that enhance operational scalability, excellence, and sustainable growth
  • Leverage data-driven insights to maximize profitability, optimize budgeting processes, improve resource allocation, and enhance cost-efficiency
  • Provide regular reports to the Group Board, delivering updates on key developments, achievements, and challenges faced by the Group Companies
  • Foster transparent and effective collaboration between the Group Companies, the Group Board, and Group teams

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven experience in leadership and stakeholder management role, preferably in a regional or multi-country capacity
  • Strong background in business management, strategy execution, and financial evaluation
  • Proven success in meeting business targets and driving business growth
  • Proactive and result-driven personality with "getting things done" mindset
  • Experience in the fintech industry is an advantage
  • Fluent in English, the global language of business
