Experienced Fence Installers, Scotland

Hours 37.5, Monday – Friday

About us

Fencing specialists with over a century of expertise, and now in our fourth generation as a family-owned business, our heritage is built on strong values, long-standing relationships, and a genuine commitment to quality. It's this consistency that our customers have trusted for generations, and it's what we look for in everyone who joins us.

About the role

We're looking for experienced Fence Installers to join us on a permanent basis, installing high-security fencing at sites across the UK. This is hands-on, physical work that takes you out on the road, mostly Monday to Friday, with the occasional weekend when working on the Scottish Islands. Transport and accommodation are provided while you're away, along with additional pay for nights spent away from home.

If you're an experienced installer looking for variety, real teamwork, and the chance to see your work go up at sites nationwide, this is a great place to build a career.

What we're looking for:

  • Willingness to undergo DBS and security clearance checks
  • A proven team player who works well alongside others
  • Comfortable working outdoors, whatever the weather
  • A positive, collaborative attitude
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • A CSCS card

What we stand for

We've been in this trade for over a hundred years, and we're still a family business at heart, so we look after our own history and the people who built it. We do things properly and honestly, even when it would be easier not to. We take pride in a job well done, no shortcuts. We're always happy to learn something new or find a better way of doing things. We look out for each other and get stuck in as a team. And we don't waste time, kit, or money, we do things the right way so the business stays strong for the long run. On site, that just means turning up, doing your bit, treating people fairly, and taking pride in your work.

What's in it for you:

  • Pay: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications
  • Vehicle: Company van provided
  • Away allowance: Additional pay for nights spent away from home, £25 per night for staying away and £25 per night meal allowance.
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours, full time

We invest in our people, so if you're looking for a genuine career, with room to learn and develop, this is the role for you.
