Requirements

Valentia are currently hiring for the role of Consulting Analyst. The essential skills and entry requirements for this role are:


Academic / Professional Qualifications:

  • 1st Class Bachelor’s (in any subject) and 2+ years relevant experience in industry, or
  • 2.1 Bachelors (in any subject) and 1+ years in Financial Services or Consulting, or
  • Master’s degree in a relevant subject and a relevant internship.


Project Work Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 6 months relevant work experience
  • Basic foundational knowledge in the Financial Services sector and demonstrates an interest to develop domain knowledge in particular areas
  • Has worked in one or more project delivery capabilities: data gathering, business requirements, data analysis, project management office, process improvements, testing, status reporting
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills and has created compelling slide decks to communicate client journeys and team deliverables
  • Understands key elements of project management and business analysis. Understands how project deliverables deliver client value and fit with the overall programme objective
  • Has strong attention to detail, creative thinking, problem solving, collaboration skills and growth mindset
  • Excellent Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint skills.


On Client Site, the person will

  • Work with clients to build positive working relationships that creates value
  • Work with a consultant / manager to deliver large initiatives and as part of a project team to deliver specific outputs
  • Actively develop a strong professional network within the client group and maintains strong relationships with former clients


Within Valentia, the person will

  •  Contribute to Valentia Partners success as a firm by helping complete sales pitches for new / existing client work
  • Work to build skills and knowledge and looks to continually improve and develop knowledge and qualifications as part of a lifelong learner and growth mindset
  • Complete project tasks within Valentia that contribute to larger internal initiatives in Marketing, HR and other areas
  • Propose ideas for the development of the firm and actively supports the recruitment process
