We are looking for innovative student who wants to question, learn and improve: to think beyond your current skillset and harness technology to mitigate risk and speed up delivery. Your role will be focused on using enhanced data analysis to optimise value for our clients. It is essential that all team members focus on relationships (internally and externally) and provide a personal service to our clients.


This Placement position will be based in our Gloucester office. The role will involve the provision of assisting in the full range of pre and post contract Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services across commercial, residential, public and private sectors. As a Placement QS, you will be working closely alongside a friendly and experienced team, involved in a wide range of projects, assisting on all aspects from inception to completion and ensuring it is delivered to budget and on time with the highest level of service.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Studying towards Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying,


Skills:

  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, or similar QS tools).
  • Strong analytical skills for data, trends, and cost analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.
  • Attention to detail for accurate cost estimation and budgeting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve project cost and contract issues.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors.

The position will require an element of travel to fulfil the requirement of the role, so having a full clean driving licence would be essential.
