Join us in our Gloucester office, located in Twigworth, as part of our QS team, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services across commercial, residential, public, and private sectors. Requirements

We are looking for candidates who are:


  • Serve as a senior member of the Ward Williams QS team, delivering projects from inception to completion as either a sole QS or team leader.
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  • Passionate about ethical practices concerning people, places, and the planet.
  • Experience across sectors, including residential (essential) and commercial development/infrastructure.
  • Capable of independently managing projects at any RIBA stage (pre-contract/post-contract).
  • Proficient in JCT contracts (essential) and familiar with NEC contracts (desirable).
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Skilled in analysing and presenting complex data in an understandable format.
  • Awareness of B Corporation objectives, social value, and sustainable construction principles.
  • Consultancy experience is essential.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 and cost management software (e.g., CADMeasure, iTWO costX).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex issues clearly to different audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, fostering a motivated and productive environment.
  • Ability to lead and inspire junior members of the cost management team

The position will require an element of travel to fulfil the requirements of the role, so having a full clean driving licence would be desirable.
