Hours of work: 40 hours p/w (Mon - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm)


Salary: £26,500.00 per annum

Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Operations Service Delivery Manager, the Cleaning Assistant will be accountable for ensuring all room cleaning and maintaining hygienic and complaint facilities. 

Duties and Responsibiities

Main duties:

 

  • To ensure the cleaning of all communal areas, offices, toilets and external areas on a regular basis and in accordance with the company standard.
  • To ensure all accommodation is clean and maintained at the time of occupancy.
  • To ensure all laundry is completed to an agreed standard and to meet business requirements.
  • To ensure company procedures are adhered to and all cleaning records are completed and up to date.
  • Support delivery of revenue targets through provision of smooth operational services.
  • Reporting to the Operations Service Delivery Manager to ensure all operational/catering/cleaning supplies/equipment/inventory items are replaced/repaired/maintained/purchased to meet business requirements.
  • Other duties as deemed reasonable by the Operations Service Delivery Manager.

 

Team Working

 

  • Meeting your own Key Performance Objectives
  • Liaise regularly with line manager and team members.
  • Attending team and other staff meetings.
  • Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager.

 

 Training and Development

 

  • Attend monthly performance review meeting with the Operations Service Delivery Manager.
  • Pursuing personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role and in accordance to agreed Personal Development Plan.
  • Monitor own work levels, progress and development
  • Make recommendations in regard to operational issues and enhancements.
  • Undertake all core training and development programmes as required.

 

Connect and Collaborate

  • Work closely with your line manager and team members
  • Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required.
  • Supporting team members and provide on-the-job training.
  • Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager.
  • Helping/providing cover for other team members as required.

  • Keep up to date with all written and verbal communications (i.e., emails/messages/calls)
  • Ensure all records are maintained and kept up to date according to company policies and procedures.
  • Liaise closely with line manager, team members and other staff.

  • Monitor own work levels, progress, and development in the role.
  • Undertake all core learning and development programmes as required.
  • Undertake relevant learning according to agreed Personal Development Plan
