We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage multiple kitchen projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with customers, designers, and our production team to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction. They will also regularly liaise with other industry professionals such as suppliers and our clients own tradespeople which include interior designers, architects, and builders.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of project implementation, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure customers needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and other departments.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure all projects comply with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Assisting with quality control/ workshop inspection checks prior to despatch.
  • Conduct occasional site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.


Requirements

We would like you to have:


  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in a similar industry, preferably in bespoke furniture, or professional home renovations. We have found that candidates with a background in shop fitting are also suitable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Draftsite or CAD, and MS Office Suite.
  • Past experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Have minimum GCSE grades (or equivalent) of A-C in English and Maths.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
  • Have an interest in interiors and design, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Be personable and friendly and enjoy working with others. 
  • Have some practical furniture knowledge (useful but not essential).
  • Live within a reasonable commute of Loughborough.
