JOB SUMMARY

As a Sales Executive for the cargo division at SmartLynx Airlines, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new cargo clients, driving business growth, and revenue generation. You will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with prospective and existing cargo customers, understanding their specific needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Your expertise and strategic approach will be instrumental in expanding our cargo operations and ensuring the company's continued success.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to target and penetrate new markets, identifying potential cargo clients and industries that could benefit from our services.
  • Business Development: Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends within the cargo industry. Utilize this knowledge to generate new leads and expand our customer base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential cargo clients. Understand their unique needs and challenges, positioning our cargo services as the ideal solution.
  • Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with cargo clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements while ensuring profitability for the company.
  • Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed assigned sales targets, contributing significantly to the company's revenue growth and market share in the cargo division.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Finance, and Marketing, to ensure a seamless and efficient sales process for cargo services.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes that may impact the cargo business, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and potential areas of growth in the cargo division.






QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Aviation, or a related field would be beneficial.
  • Proven track record of at least 7 years in B2B sales, preferably within the aviation or cargo industry.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of cargo business models and a solid knowledge of the aviation industry, particularly in the cargo segment.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex concepts effectively.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities, capable of establishing rapport with key stakeholders in the cargo industry.
  • Strategic thinker with the capacity to identify and capitalize on market opportunities in the cargo sector.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events related to cargo operations.
